7up Cake
About 9-11 serving
Ingredients
90g Butter
60g Castor Sugar
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon of vanilla essence
55g Cake flour
7up
Method
1. Preheat oven at 180 Degree Celsius
2. Melt a bit of butter, add in small amount of sugar and dissolve, then melt in the leftover butter, add in all the sugar and stir till silky.
3. Add egg into the mixture
4. Add in cake flour (bit by bit and stir consistently)
5. Add 7up (add till the mixture is not so sticky)
6. Add in Vanilla essence
7. Pour into mould
8. Bake for about 15-18 minutes
FYI the cake won’t have 7up taste as 7up is just a leveling agent. We’re just using the gas to make the cake.
